No sitting through training you don’t need. We assess what you can already do and, where you’re competent, you walk away with a Statement of Attainment.
What is RPL?
RPL gives you credit for skills, knowledge and experience gained through work and life, including formal and informal learning, on-the-job experience and volunteering. It means you can gain credit toward nationally recognised units of competency or a full qualification without completing a full training program.

What is the process?
1. You complete our free skills assessment – this is a quick online assessment to assist us to identify any relevant units of competency and or qualifications you may be eligible to receive recognition for.
2. Build your evidence portfolio – Once we have identified what units of competency and or qualifications are relevant, we will explain to you what type of evidence (proof of your skills & knowledge) is required. This could be questioning, observations of tasks, third party reports, documents etc.
3. Your evidence is assessed by one of our qualified assessors – Your assigned assessor will review your submitted evidence against the unit of competency. All evidence will be reviewed as a whole to determine your competence. The assessor will make the decision if you are competent, not yet competent or if further evidence is required.
4. You get your Statement of Attainment or Qualification – If your assessor deems you as competent, we will submit all evidence to our partnering Registered Training Organisation, SDS Training RTO 32505 who will then issue you with your statement of attainment.
